Amitabh Bachchan has got the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine along with his entire family except for his son, Abhishek Bachchan
Joining the list of celebrities getting their COVID-19 vaccine, actor Amitabh Bachchan becomes the latest entrant. He recently took to his Twitter handle to inform his fans and followers that he got the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Exclaiming that he has ‘Got it done’, Big B also mentioned that everything is well after taking the vaccine jab. He wrote, ‘My CoviD vaccination this afternoon .. All well’. He even penned the same on his blog, mentioning that his entire family has taken the vaccine shot except for his actor/son, Abhishek Bachchan as he is currently not in Mumbai.
Amitabh wrote on his blog, "DONE .. vaccination done .. all well .. did Covid test for family and staff yesterday .. results came today .. all good , all negative .. so done the vaccine .. all family done except Abhishek .. he be on location and shall do it on return soon in a few days.” Along with the note, he also shared a monochrome snap of getting the vaccine where he is seen wearing a white kurta. The Gulabo Sitabo actor feels that the vaccine experience was historic and hence asserted that he will pen the entire procedure later as he further wrote, “Oh .. the entire procedure of taking the vaccination needs a rather detailed exclusive Blog .. shall do so .. later .. it was historic!!”
Last year, Big B along with his family - Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya were tested positive for COVID-19. Among them, the father-son duo was admitted to the hospital while others were home quarantine. However, after a few days, even Ash and Aaradhya were admitted to the hospital. The Guru actor was the last one to get recovered from the virus.
